Bare Mineral Users, do you mix your powders?

Do you mix your powders? I know you can combine your foundations, but could you mix a bronzer with foudation or mix mineral veil with a bronzer?

What combinations have you come up with and what wouldn't you try doing again? TIA, I look forward to reading your replies.

I think warmth is too dark on me by itself so I mix it with my powder for a more natural look. That's the only one I've tried.

Yes, I've mixed warmth in with my foundation before, but that's about the extent of my blending. I know they talk about blending and mixing things all the time on QVC. It's all made of the same stuff.

I mixed my foundation with some Mineral Veil......tinted Mineral Veil!!!!!!

I actually just bought some Tinted Mineral Veil the last time it was on QVC. It is a HUGE container, probably will last me for at least several years .

Sharon, do you like the tinted veil? I got it last year or early this year and didnt like it, so I returned it. I was so excited when I saw it on qvc, but it just didnt work for me for some reason.

I know a lot of people think warmth is "too much" and its very concentrated you only need a little teeny bit of it. They have come out with a new warmth that is less scary to people. I forget the name of it at the moment, but its for those who have been afraid to use it cause its kind of intimidating. They came out with a few things in this same line and warmth is the only one I can remember right now.

I've mixed the foundation and the summer bisque but thats it so far. I know you can mix them all up, but I just havent. I do save my empty containers though, run them thru the dishwasher and use them for jewelry boxes when traveling..

You may be thinking of "Soft Focus" - I think it comes in Glee and Warmth.


Yes, many of us BE users combine the basics - Trudy is a blend of 3 basics (sorry I can't remember which ones- maybe true, glee and warmth?)

Combining is one of the great features of this line - and it is so easy to do.

Yes, I love the Tinted Mineral Veil. I had been wanting to buy it and when they had the huge container I couldn't resist!!!! I like the Warmth too, no problem with it being too dark, you use so little of it. But it isn't my fav blush, I also have Joyous Jennifer and Trendsetter. I also bought the Summer Bisque the same time as the Tinted Mineral Veil. I like it, but not as much as the regular Bisque. I just think the regular does a better job at covering imperfections. Nothing like going through puberty at age 40, acne, you know, the deep, deep ones that get red . I still use it though.

I actually use Warmth as a bit of an all-over eye shadow, then just add a darker color near the lashes.

I haven't started mixing yet, but I'm about too. Just ordered the June TSV that is available for preorder and a bunch of samples from colorful sprinkles. When everything comes in, I'll be ready to play!

I ordered that tinted mineral veil too. That is one huge jar! lol

I was thinking about this stuff. Is it better to buy from QVC than BE directly?
Does it cover pretty good? I like the coverage of liquid but hate having to wash my hands afterwards and inevitably it will stain my towel even after I wash my hands.
Last question- Does it rub off on your clothes?

I got the starter kit a few months ago and have the light shades. It came with fairly light and light. I used the lightest one alone for awhile but now that I have more color from the sun, I'm mixing the two together. Maybe later in the summer I'll go to using only the darker of the lighter shades, and then back. The one that's not as light seems a bit too orange for me by itself, so I will probably always have to mix that with something.
