I just started wearing Bare Escentuals and I love it but I am sort of freaking out as I have been reading it doesn't photograph well. My brother in law's wedding is Saturday and I am scared I spent all of this money on makeup but I'm going to end up looking like crap! Please, please tell me I'll be okay! Has anyone worn BE/Mineral makeup on their wedding day or for a special occassion and had it look good in photos? Any tips to make it look okay, or should I go back to Sephora and try to find something better?

Any and all help appreciated!

I used to use Bare Escentials (I use bare minerals now) and they both photograph very nicely - much better than liquid makeup.

I use Bare Escentuals and photograph just fine:thumbsup2!!!!!

ETA: If I were at home, I have a good closeup pic, not retouched. It was taken on my last cruise and probably the best pic of me. I would have to scan it. If I remember, I will do it when I get home.

I use Bare Minerals too. Just came back from a cruise and had many photos taken especially in the evening for dinner etc and all the professional pics. I thought my makeup looked very good.
Here is a pic.

OK, here's the pic. Take away all the shininess:scared1:, I have a terrible oily complexion. Since then I have learned to use Monistat Chafing gel as a makeup primer. This cuts down tremendously on the oil:thumbsup2!!!

Thank you so much for the reassurance and the pictures. I might get the monistat chafing gel as well..although I do have the Prime Time BE Primer

Another monistat/mineral makeup gal!!! I did my sisters makeup for her wedding this way too, and her pics came out wonderful!!!!!!!

I am an Esthetician/Make-Up artist and I use BE...it is GREAT!! It's great for the skin too! Goes on smoothly and takes great pictures.:thumbsup2

Absolutely!

Liquid makeup contains (I believe it is titanium dioxide?) Which reflects light and means when a flash is used, your face reflects it causing you to look like a ghost.

I have so many pictures that I am obviously tan with this WHITE face, and that's why.

Mineral makeup photographs much better.
