Barcelona port- using delta or at France check in

I'll be in Disney cruise and leaving Barcelona port back to airport.
I am flying Air France but it was booked in delta. We are going to Paris for the day.
Has anyone done delta or the Air France port check in for luggage before going to the airport?
If so how was it? My flight to Paris is 1220pm. So if we get off at 7ish...just looking for easiest path.

You should not have any problems. We had a flight about the same time on our furst cruise and just did our check in at the airport with our bags. Have a great cruise!

Have you considered carrying on? We have done 3 “one suitcase only” trips to Europe and will do our 4th this summer. Of course this necessitates doing laundry mid-trip but I think it’s a good trade off. We are flying easyJet to Switzerland after the cruise and this will save us paying for checked bags. Now you may be like us and get free checked bags on Delta so that may make you more prone to check them regardless which is understandable.
