I'd rather hear a CD of babs then listen as a captive audience at one of her concerts spew her political garbage at me when I am paying good money to hear her sing.

I never really liked her so I wouldnt pay to hear her. Couldnt care less what her political leanings are and if she wants to use her stage for it well Its no skin off my nose. Im not there anyway.

Conversely, she is one of the dumbest, most ill-informed, living in her own fantasyworld celebrities who thinks she is better than the rest of us peons who should be worshiped as a goddess. Plus, I think she's unattractive.

Just look at all the folks on this thread wishing her to "shut up".

She has just as much right to voice her thoughts as anyone else. Don't like her views? Good, don't buy the concert ticket. If it hurts her wallet fine, I'm sure she is aware of the cost. Whining cause you don't have a concert to voice your thoughts? Tough, take out a full page ad in the paper. If it hurts YOUR wallet fine.

As much as I can't stand Rush, Hannity, O'Reilly, etc, etc, they have every right to voice their thoughts. As much as I can't stand country music they have their rights as well and God bless 'em. But you won't catch me watching them or buying their music.
