I have made both, and the cupcake is a bit difficult to cook all the way through.

For my DD's 5th I made the Barbie cake. For all the kids I made mini ones that were very cute. We baked little cakes in glass custard cups. Then we stuck little Kelly size dolls (the cheap Target ones) in each and the kids decorated their own. It was a blast.. and I was very proud of myself.
