Barbie and Ken do Disney Trip Report COMPLETED!!

Yay! I'm glad you are back. I sat at home the other night reading your entire TR (on a Saturday night!!!) and then I was totally bummed when it just ended. I hope you are feeling great & can't wait to hear more about your trip.

PS: I love all of your pictures :)

On the bus ride over, we were pumped about our first day at Animal Kingdom. It was the only park we HADN'T seen yet!

I loved reading your installment on AK because you haven't been there yet! It reminded me of how excited I was the first time we got to see AK after it first opened!

While we were waiting, we got a visit from a talking tree. Todd thought it was the coolest thing ever, but it was gone before I could snap a picture.

Where exactly was this talking tree and what exactly did it look like?!

Everest was AMAZING! My favorite ride, by far out of any at Disney.

Expedition Everest IS the best ever! I"ll ride it all day with you :goodvibes

This is the inside :

Oh my gosh! That's what it looks like on the inside?! That's so cool! NEver been in it! Is it a restaurant or a quick service?

Todd and I banned together though and made it impossible for them to get past us - those little sneakers!

BF and I do this all the time in line! Great minds think alike!:thumbsup2

****Blayne, I love ya girl but PLEASE try not to leave us hanging so long! PM me and let me know what's been goin on with you since we haven't talked in forever!

So glad your back! I am even more excited about AK now...if that's possible! It's DH's favorite park but I've never been. Your pics are great and sounds like you had an amazing day.

:yay: Glad you are back. Loved your AK installment and all your pictures. I think we might skip the Nemo musical in October since I have not heard too many good thing about it. We will stick to Lion King since my kids love it.

Oohhh - two updates in one day! YAY!

Great as always - loving the photos and how much fun you're having!

Welcome back Blayne, great installments. I love AK too, not my favorite (MGM is) but it's so great how DisneyWorld has so many different things that appeal to so many different people, glad you found your favorite. I think I will sit further back for the nemo show, maybe you won't notice the people as much if you aren't in the front :confused3 , but I am looking forward to it. We loved the Lion King show there. Did you do Tough to be a Bug? That is fun too. I think you guys saw a lot on the safari, animals were active compared to when we've gone. That line in the FP area does allow for sneaky people like you mentioned to try and ease their way past you, so annoying, I agree. Thanks for the LeCellier review, we will be trying that for the first time this year. You guys didn't stay for Illuminations? Looking forward to more.
Lesley

Blayne, Thank you for the update! I really loved looking at your pics!

Animal Kingdom is one of our favorite parks, too!

I understand what you mean about the Nemo show. We saw it several times because our little girl loves Nemo:love:. In my opinion it is a much better show when you are sitting in the back. :thumbsup2

I look forward to reading more installments!:yay:

Yay Blayne!! Two things--

1. What is that sprinkly thing on Todd's smores???? Is it a big marshmello??? So confused!

2. I hate TLMs. Even at fairs and stuff with kids.... I spread my arms wide so they can't pass... It makes me SO MAD!!!! I'd have done (and often do) exactly what yall did!

Thanks for the update. AK is not my favorite park, but I am hoping my next visit it will bring somthing different for me.
I loved all the pics, good job on stopping TLM!!
Can't wait for another update, please don't keep us waiting so long.

(how's the new job going?)

Yay for an update. I'm so excited about going to the AK too. One month from today that is where we will be. Your TR just got me even more excited to go.

I am so glad you came back Blayne. I enjoyed reading about your day at AK and your dinner at LeCellier.
I hate those TLMs we encountered some really aggressive TLMs on our trip in Jan. one pushed my DS6 to get ahead of us pretending she was joining the rest of her party then after she got in front of us she motioned told her husband (in another language) to get in front of us also. After we realized what they were trying to do we didnt let the other one in front of us. I was so angry that she pushed my DS just to get in front of us in the line. They ended up being on the same train with us so they didnt get too far ahead. Some people have no manners.

Anyway, glad your back Blayne .. I hope you don't keep us waiting too long for the next update.

Love the trip report. It is always so fun to "see" Disney again through someone new to the World! :flower3:

Sorry you didn't enjoy Nemo, my family and I have not seen it yet, but were hoping for good things. I assumed it would be like Broadway's Lion King with being able to see the people running the puppets. Oh well.

Can't wait for the next installment--keep up the good read!:woohoo:

Hi Blayne, I love your report so far! I agree that the chicken sandwiches at Tusker House are TDF! I am drooling from you picture!

Can't wait for the next installment (but no rush, you are doing us a favor by posting on here and it sounds like you are a very hard-working young girl :thumbsup2 ).

Welcome back Blayne,
So glad you could post for us again!!!And we got a bonus episode!!
I too love AK,not my favorite but I do love it.. Good job with the TLM's. They are so annoying. Cant wait for more, hope your feeling better. Whats up with the tattoo, can we see it?????
