Yes, she always updates. I love all her changes!! It makes me feel better about my own changes. So, all go over and check out Lesley's pretrip report.

Now I'm off to find Disneolic's tr, I always miss the best ones for some reason.

Well...I've spent the last day and a half reading this TR, and now I see it's at a dead end! Bummer! Blayne, if you're reading this...I've loved your TR so far...hope you'll come finish it!

But in the meantime...
come on over to mine, I ALWAYS update - although I'm still in Pre TR stage ;)
Lesley
I'm hooked on Lesley's Pre TR for now! Thanks Lesley!

Well I already crossed over to Cinderella and Leslie's TR's. I like that fact that they keep you updated. I can honestly say that when I wrote mine, I updated on a regular basis. She's about to lose her following.

I'm kind of bummed that I wasted a whole evening reading this TR only to have it end...Oh well :(

I'm hooked on Leslie's pre-trip report now too :)

I'll plug mine, too...check it out!! At least we have something to read while Blayne isn't around!

I'm gonna go check out some of your TRs since it looks like Blayne isn't coming back. I was looking forward to hearing about what that crazy Rafiki did to Blayne (didn't she say that Rafiki did something) What do you think it was :confused3

Just finished mine. I was very motivated since I didn't have Blayne's TR to read. ;)

Blayne, I sure hope that you are planning on finishing up! I've really enjoyed your TR!

I'm on my way to check out all the other TR's (and PTR's) now!!

Today we were EXHAUSTED!! The Pirate and Princess Party the night before had really knocked us out, but we managed to get up and grab some unimportant breakfast from the Pop Century food court (I was taken to eating Pop Waffles with strawberry topping EVERY DAY! - hey its vacation!) and we got ready to go to Animal Kingdom. The day was beautiful and I was SO excited to go to Animal Kingdom, not only because I LOVE animals, but for Expedition Everest!! On the bus ride over, we were pumped about our first day at Animal Kingdom. It was the only park we HADN'T seen yet!

We arrived at the gates and had to wait in line, because we were the first few there. While we were waiting, we got a visit from a talking tree. Todd thought it was the coolest thing ever, but it was gone before I could snap a picture. I love the Disney puts so much magic and detail into things. I mean, talking trash cans, talking trees .. its those little extraordinary things that make it even more special then any regular vacation! When they finally let us through the gates, everyone took off running, only to be stopped after the Oasis and put behind a rope to watch the preshow. Todd and I were jittery and anxious to get to Everest, but we tried to be patient and enjoy every moment of the preshow.

Instead of letting the rope drop and having us stampede to Everest however, they forced us to follow slowly behind a big flag in order to get to Everest. Todd and I were angry, but calmed down once we got there and realized we would be one of the first to go on! When we did arrive at Everest, I was shocked. ANIMAL KINGDOM IS AMAZING!! We grabbed fastpasses and then got on one the first ride of the morning with NO WAIT!

Everest was AMAZING! My favorite ride, by far out of any at Disney.

After we rode Everest twice and got a fastpass for later, we made our way to Dinosaur. We rode Dinosaur with no wait TWICE. It is a really jerky ride and made Todd nauseous. But I thought it was pretty fun!! After that we went into Dinorama, but we didn't ride anything, just kind of browsed.

IMG_2639.jpg

After, we made our way back to Everest, to use our fastpasses for our third ride.

IMG_2641.jpg

It was great and we bought pictures of a lot of the rides. I could have ridden Everest all day, but Todd thought it was time for something else.

Finding Nemo the Musical was scheduled to start shortly so we hopped in line for that.

We sat in the front row and I was super excited because Finding Nemo is one of my favorite movies and I had heard that the Musical was excellent. The puppetry was amazing, however I found that it was pretty distracting having actual people talking in front of you. It was hard for me to get into it. For example there is an actual man on top of Crush singing, its very difficult to pretend that it is Crush. Todd didnt like it, I thought it was alright. But I was a little disappointed. They should figure out a way to just make it puppets, no people.

After Nemo, we headed over to Harambe and went grabbed fast passes for Kilimanjaro Safaris. Then we headed to Tusker House to grab some lunch before our safari ride. It was pretty crowded inside, but I was excited to eat there. I had heard a lot of good things about it. I found us a table outside, it was secluded and nice and really seemed as if we were in Harambe. In fact, we sat in a section which had all sorts of African ads and a Harmbe sign right behind us. It was really nice.

This is the inside :

The Outside:

We each got the chicken sandwich. YUM! It was delicious!! We both really enjoyed our meal there. The chicken sandwich was great and our desserts were fabulous. I loved my carrot cake!!

After lunch, we still had a little time before our safari, so we watched some street performers outside of Tusker House. It was a lot of fun, they sang and danced. I was suprised at how authentic it was. I think this is why Animal Kingdom became my favorite park, because you really feel that you are there in these different faraway places, despite that your only in florida. Its great!

We headed to our safari, where encountered some EXTREMELY rude people in line. Lets call them "The Line Manipulators" or "TLM" for short. So as you know from my following installments, Todd and I are kind of no-nonsense people. We are competitive and we like when things are fair. Well, while in the line, we had a family of three carefully trying to maneuver their way to the front of the line. Several times they tried to slip past us. They were SO sneaky. Everyone was commenting on it. They were trying all sorts of things to get to the front. Todd and I banned together though and made it impossible for them to get past us - those little sneakers! Anyways, enough about "TLM's", lets get on with our safari!

We got on our truck and we were pumped! We were totally ready to see some animals! We sat somewhere in the middle on this safari and I had my camera ready to go!

We thoroughly enjoyed our safari. There were a lot of gasps and "oohs" and "ahhs" out of me! Todd loved it. The animals weren't as active though because it was the afternoon, so we were even more determined to go on a morning safari.

YAY! I loved this installment. AK is by far my favorite too! I love MK b/c I love my DDs reaction to it all, but AK is my cup of tea!

Can't wait to hear more.

Welcome back Blayne!!! It's about time...but still glad that you finally returned. :goodvibes

So, we'll see you in about 3 weeks for your next installment, right? :lmao:

After the fantastic safari, we took some pictures outside of it.

Todd tried on this hat and I nearly died laughing! Im pretty sure he may have a future as a tour guide!

IMG_2697.jpg

After the safari, we went on the Pangani forest trail. It was fun! We saw a lot of different animals!!

I loved measuring our hands with the gorillas!!

My hands :

Todds hands:

Apparently Todd IS a gorilla since his hands are the same size! haha

After that, we went to Camp Minnie Mickey. I was very excited to meet the characters!! We only had time to see Donald and Minnie because the lines were really long!

I took this random picture of a pole because I thought it was lovely and thought I'd share it with you -

IMG_2711.jpg

Although were were pressed for time (we had to get to Epcot for our dinner reservation), I saw Stitch on the way out of Camp Minnie Mickey and HAD to get a picture. Also, Flik was directly across from Stitch and had no line so we took that photo-op as well!

IMG_2713.jpg

By this time we had to set off running, because I was nervous we would be late for our Le Cellier reservation in Epcot. We had had a fantastic day at Animal Kingdom and it is now dubbed MY FAVORITE PARK! We also got tons of photopass photos which I will share with you when my tr is over.

We made our way to Epcot and made it with plenty of time to spare. They sat us down a half an hour early. We were famished from our long day and I was super excited about this dinner, so we welcomed the early seating. Unfortunately I didn't take pictures of this meal because we ordered exactly what everyone gets at Le Cellier and theres 8 billion pictures of our dinner on the disboards so I felt it wasn't pertinent. Also, I was pretty tired and just wanted to relax with my dinner. We both ordered the Mushroom Filet Mignon and the Cheddar Cheese Soup. We LOVED the Filet. It was delicious! The cheddar cheese soup, was different than I imagined, but still really good. I enjoyed the pretzel bread the most and Todd really liked the sourdough. For dessert, I had the maple and vanilla creme brulee and Todd had the smores. Which I did take a picture of because it was WONDERFUL looking!!

IMG_2714.jpg

Although it looked fantastic, Todd said it wasn't good and he also had NO IDEA how to attempt eating it! It was very funny, I thought!

After dinner, albeit stuffed and pretty much rolling, we took a trip around the World Showcase. We stopped everywhere, but I really liked Morocco. I thought it was really pretty and authentic.

IMG_2715.jpg

I also really loved Japan. My father lived there for 2 years in the Marines and I've always wanted to visit there. I bought some handmade chopsticks and a sushi bowl set. Also I bought my dad a lot of Japanese snacks because he likes them. I wanted so bad to get a pearl set, but it cost to much money.

When we got to Norway, I was sad because I had so wanted to go on Maelstrom, but the wait was over an hour!!

We finished off with Mexico and then rolled ourselves back to the hotel.

IMG_2717.jpg

We had an early night, because we were so exhausted from the previous one. We played a little in Pop Century arcade and then relaxed in our room. It was a really great day!! We were really excited for our FULL day at MGM the next day so we got to sleep EARLY!

Next up - Our day at Mgm, Lunch at Backlot Express and Dinner at Sci Fi Dine In!

Thanks for reading, :)
