Great update, Blayne! I'm so glad you LOVED RnRC and ToT! They are two of my very favorites!
We've eaten at Prime Time a few times, and sometimes it's been fun, and sometimes not so much. The last trip we had a terrible server, and it really pretty much ruined it for us, though the food was good. I think we'll give that place a rest for a while!

Hi! Thank you. Yeah I just loved both of those rides. Unfortunately that was the last time we got to ride TOT as you will see in the rest of my TR. Also you will find out what my REAL favorite ride turned out to be! I couldn't agree with you more. It was the server and the location that really blew it for us. But I promise the meals get WAYY better from here!
I ate at 50's Prime Time last week, and I must say, I'm not a fan of it either. Though I ALMOST ordered that appetizer with the herb cheese, and now after seeing that picture I'm kicking myself. Oh well.

First off I just want to say that the picture in your signature is SO CUTE! Anyways, I'm happy to hear that it wasn't just me. The herb cheese was great however, so I can't complain about that. It was just so different then I thought it would be. It isn't mozzarella, it's like a creamy cheese on the inside that you spread on the french bread.. it was delectable! Which appetizer did you end up ordering??
Yay! You're alive! Glad that you loved the thrill rides. I love the character photos, especially the one with Woody. Sorry that you didn't like 50's Prime Time Cafe. We've always had such wonderful experiences there. In a positive light, that's what makes Disney great though, there's something for everyone, Can't wait to read more!
Hey pumpkin! Yes I am alive and kicking! Oooh I just love Toy Story.. I have to say I liked Buzz a lot better than Woody, Woody was just so TALL, it was quite intimidating! lol Maybe someday we will give 50's Prime Time another try, but I think we are all set for now!!
Thank you for the update, I was getting worried there and close to calling in a search party for you. I liked your pictures at MGM, did you feel it was easy to get turned around in that park? Cause I couldn't make heads or tails of where I was at half the time.

I think the line for RnR attracts the wierd ones, that's their hangout.

Hey! Nope, no need for the search party! I felt horrible keeping everyone waiting that long, but I honestly just couldn't seem to get on here! About MGM, I totally felt that way at first. Todd and I were so uncoordinated because side streets that seemed unimportant ended up being REALLY REALLY important, but after we went there 8 billion times we kind of got the hang of it!! Don't change your mind about PTC because of me! If I had done that with a lot of restaurants, my whole vacation would have been ruined. For example - just wait until our Mama Melrose meal which ended up being one of the best, but I almost cancelled it a million times! Try it! Who knows, you may love 50's! I promise I will update you all on the job thing as soon as I know for sure - right now though, I will keep all of you in the dark!! MUHAHAHA!

Hey! I WILL update everyone on my job situation.. i promise! Prime Time was the one I went to that was bad (Sci Fi was wonderful - but more of that at another date!) Monster Inc characters were cute, but not that friendly because their costumes are so big I think it's a little difficult for them to move and see. We had to go for a nap, we had the grumpy grumps and had the Pirate and Princess Party that night till midnight! SHEESH! haha
So sorry you didn't like 50's Prime Time. We loved it. Manny, our waiter was a hoot!
Glad you enjoyed RnR & ToT. Those are our faves, too. Just an FYI - If you miss your fastpass time, you can still use them. Disney just doesn't want you using them earlier than your marked time, but you can use them later than the marked time. At least, that's what the CM told us.

Too funny about the characters. I remember way back when I went to Universal Studios Hollywood and the character Fievel motioned me over. I was so excited I ran over and had to squat down to hug him. Well, he wouldn't let me go and I think he was trying to "cop a feel" although I didn't realize until I walked away. I laugh hysterically about it now, being felt up by Fievel. I've never felt that way about the Disney characters tho.
Too bad about your 50s Prime Time experience. Your server can really make the difference in your whole dining experience. Our first time we had the greatest server. He was a young Jerry Lewis type guy and was absolutely hysterical. I was in tears with laughter. Our 2nd time, I was so excited and we got stuck in a back room with a boring "aunt". Oh well. We are willing to try it out again though.

Glad you liked the ride though it really is a thrill isnt it?? Sorry about your dining experience, I have never eaten there but I have heard mixed reviews. Character meetings, now those are FUN!! Every time we go, Brer Bear tries to take me away; DBF is not a fan! Glad you got an update up, I will be anxiously awaiting more!

Loved that you loved Rockin' Roller Coaster, hands down the best ride on property, I can't wipe the smile off my face after riding it for a half an hour afterwards. Just an FYI, you could have used those FP's, we've used them after they expire MANY MANY times - oh well, next time
I personally don't mind the food at 50's Primetime (better than at Sci Fi- Yuck) but totally understand what you are saying about that back room, we were totally bummed out two years ago being stuck back in that room and had a waiter similar to the one you described, this year I am requesting a t.v. table and waiting as long as it takes to get one.

Hey Lesley! Haha my day wasn't that bad. In fact it was great! I was just overtired and the people at Disney are nutjobs. Im so use to the nice disboard people - part of me thought that everyone at disney would be like that and THAT IS NOT THE CASE!! OMG I KNOW NOW ABOUT THOSE FASTPASSES AND I DONT WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT! I AM EXTREMELY PERTURBED THAT I DIDNT KNOW THIS! RRR! Wait till I tell Todd when he gets home tonight that we passed up all those rides! He was happy cause he has motion sickness, but NOT ME. Im sad! Next time at Prime Time I am DEFINITELY requesting a tv table - that is IF i ever go back. Which I probably won't for a few years!
Yeah, you're back!! Great installment. Before I had my breast reduction I always had nasty guys staring at my chest. It was so gross!!! No more though. Great pics with the characters, I hate when people with kids think they are more deserving of the characters than adults and I have 2 kids. Too bad you didn't know you could use your fast passes after your window has passed, we have done it several times too. I'm glad I took Primetime off my adr list for august. Hurry back with more!

For example in my next installment at the parade - the parents were terribly obnoxious. I hope your one of the nice ones who makes sure your kids on not sitting on strangers!

Thanks! You really can't escape them. And to be honest, I don't think I've ever even seen as many creeps as I have in Disney. I had a preconceived notion that Disney would be filled with all nice "Disboard" people. But thats not the case. The majority are creeps and then there are the vast view of us lovely disboarders! Oooh .. you should ride TOT .. its really not bad. I vowed to myself I would ride everything when I was there and honestly it wasn't bad. It was quite fun! Thanks for reading!

Geeze 40 fastpasses?! Reminds me of the crazy "flag people" we always seem to run into during our trip. We always try getting the fast pass machine that's NOT their line. The pile of fast passes this one guy had for his group was huge!

Hi! That guy was a total creep. He just WOULDNT stop. No matter what we said. At one point Todd was blatantly making fun of him to his face saying "Some people have bleeping staring problems" and also something along the lines of "Get a life" but he was just nuts. That woman with the 40 fastpass needed to be slapped. This isnt an exaggeration either. It was REALLY 40. FORTY! Thats just ridiculous! Thanks for reading!

Hi! Glad I made you happy! Omgosh. Disney is just such fun! Everyday is an adventure! Im sure you will have a blast. OMGOSH I WOULD COMPLETELY AND TOTALLY AND UTTERLY RECOMMEND MAMA MELROSE! It gets such bad reviews on the Disboards and we had one of our BEST meals there. Todd loved it - it was his favorite meal of the whole week and I thought it was definitely one of my top choices. We will go back EVERY time we go to Disney. I would so recommend it. And do the fantasmic package - its amazing!

Absolutely insane! Gross gross gross to the guy looking down your shirt. DF and I had a similar experience at Prime Time too. We will NEVER go there again. We had a crummy server and we didn't really like the menu. We both got chicken caesar salads and the lettuce was rotten. So disgusting! So I feel your pain on that one. I cannot wait to hear more and see the Pirate and Princess party

Hey JJ! Fastpass lady and Creep guy should get married and have really obnoxious psycho creep babies! The menu at 50's is NOT good. There is not ANYTHING on there that I would actually eat as an entree. Todd's chicken looked disgusting when he got it and I couldn't believe that he was eating but I think the poor guy was just famished. I won't go back. If we do it won't be for a long long time!
Great report! We love RnR, too...awesome coaster! Love the loud music, takeoff and loops! FUN!
BTW -- We've eaten at 50sPTC and have only had ONE good server in all those visits. His name is Topher and we see him there even when he's not serving us. He's the best. The other three times have been blech. We won't be going back for quite some time.

Hey courtney! Im sorry that I kept everyone waiting so long, I really am! I felt so bad about it! Omgosh thanks for the compliment. My hair is naturally VERY curly. I straighten it almost everyday in the winter and then just let it be curly and wild in the summer. You can totally have my autograph. Although, I think creepface wanted much more than my autograph if you know what I mean. YUCK! He's was weird looking too - kind of like an old version of Kanicki from Grease with those pockmarks all over his face. YUCK-O!
