Blayne, I am enjoying your trip report. We have been back 2 months now so I really enjoy reliving a trip. When we were there at Christmas several times throughout our trip, my 13 year old would grab my hand and say "Let's frolic!!". So skipping is quite common at Disney.

Just a thought for your next trip - the Christmas store at DTD does personalize ornaments. We have had it done even on our summer trips.

Im so excited to read about more of your trip. Im the same exact way as you. Im always glued to the window because everything down there is so different that what it is here in NH. Ive been to FL 6 times and Im always amazed everytime.

Sorry it rained on your first day in WDW, but you gotta be prepared for that in Florida. And you were! You really did your homework before you left. Ponchos ready to go. The Art of Disney store is cool, isn't it??? I just stood there, watching the artist's bio videos on the TV monitor, with my mouth hanging open. Did you get to the Art of Disney store in MGM, too? You're doing a great job on your TR so far!

Hi Jay! Okay I figured I would just quote THAT part! So Im taking your advice and Im going to add the food pictures and a minor review in with it. Eating was such a big part of the Disney trip - i mean researching the ADRs, making the ADRs .. now I just HAVE to review the ADR's! The soaps from Basin are so yummy! There was Tahitian Vanilla which smells like summertime and vanilla combined!, Sandalwood and Patchouli which I know sounds a little hippy-ish but it smells really yummy!, and Ginger Bear which has a bear on it and leaves and smells like a gingerbread cookie! They are all really yummy!

I loooooooove your TR! LOVE IT! I really like it when people post a lot of pictures. AND you have a great sense of humor so it's so much fun to read. I'm going to post a TR about my upcoming trip to Tokyo Disney, and I'm going to emulate your style! I get so excited myself reading your trip report, like it's my first trip there too.

Pop Century is just TOO big .. in REAL life outside of Disney you could never stay across from someone and NEVER see them.. but at DISNEY there is just SO many people its crazy. We're staying at Pop on our July trip so I'm glad to hear that you liked it. I'd like to see the pictures of every corner of the room. That is if you don't mind posting them.

Pop was alright. The atmosphere is outside is cool, I wouldn't say that the rooms are nice at all, but they are decent. Its VERY noisy though - just to let you know and we didnt even stay in a noisy area. The walls are PAPER THIN. You will like it though. It was fine for its purpose which was - SLEEP! I will definitely post the room pictures for you!

Hey Lesley! We did have a lot of fun despite the wet welcome! The 10 dollars or less store is called Mickeys Mart and it is right near Earl of Sandwich. They have all sorts of things for $10 and under .. pens, pencils, toys, stuffed animals, mugs, EVERYTHING! Its a pretty cool place!

We started with Disneys Wonderful World of Memories which I thought was a disappointment. I scrapbook and was looking forward to this place, but it didn't have anything special in it.
