Barber Shop

Has anyone been to the barber shop? I wanted to take my boys 4 and 2. Just wondering if it was great, good, or not worth our time.
In addition, did you have to have an appointment? And about how much per child?

Hi,

There are no appointments---it's walk in only. It is open from 9AM-5PM every day.

Cost is $17 for adults and $14 for kids 12 and under.

We did it last year for baby's first haircut and they go all out for first haircuts. Got a free pair of mickey ears, certificate and they wrap the hair with mickey confetti. It was great and the ladies were really nice. If they need a haircut then stop....especially if little one needs his first cut! (Our first son was a baldy until 18 months - first cut wasn't until he was like 2.5 yo! - so not sure if your 2 yo had his first hair cut yet). But if they don't need it may not be worth the stop. We waited in line abour 30-40 minutes. Lots of first time haircutters in line!

We've been there on both trips. On the first trip my dd was 2 and we got her first haircut. She got ears and a certificate and they sprinkled her with confetti. My older dd and my nephew got their hair painted and him red her blue and they both got glitter. Everyone told them how much they loved their hair and asked them where they got it done. They felt pretty special and loved all the attention. We were only in line 10 minutes that time. Our second trip the girls wanted their hair painted again so we went back. The line was over an hour but we waited because they wanted it so bad. They got their hair colored and they wanted sprinkles but they said they no longer had them. Instead they sprinkled their heads with little white carriage confetti. They liked it but it wasn't as cute as the glitter. The place is really small and there are usually only 2 people doing hair at a time so the waits can get long. I would try to hit it first thing in the morning. I think it was worth it and we will do it again next trip if they want it.
