I did it last trip for the first time ever in years of going to Disneyland and WDW.

It was nice. Just walked in and the barber wasn't busy.

I think it cost between $15-$18... about like any regular barber shop.

Thanks! I was thinking this would be a great surprise for my dh when (if) we ever get to go. I think he would get a real kick out of it!

DS (16) has agreed to get his hair cut at the barber shop on our trip in March (60 days, woohoo !!). I have always wanted to do this, but never got around to it. Maybe he's being so nice because I just booked the Around the World Epcot Segway tour for us?!?!?!? He has even agreed to the "pixie dust thing" (as he calls it). It should be a real hoot, as his friend (also 16) is joining us. I'll be sure and take LOTS of pictures !

Let me forewarn you about the barber shop, it's a great place to get a hair cut, but when my dad went there the barber sprinkled fairy dust on his head when he'd finished.
Don't get me wrong, it's a nice thing to do for a kid. But I just don't see a grown man enjoying having glitter in his hair all day. Who knows though, they might not even do that anymore

The barber ASKS if you want it. (I didn't have it put on.)

A playful barber MIGHT have just done it as a prank to your dad, but generally they DON'T without asking.

It was probably just the barber
and he did it to me too because I was laughing at my dad (after he'd gotten sprinkled) so in a way I had it comin!!

It was $14 for kids and $17 for adults last year but I am not sure if they raised the prices at the beginning of the year.

That's only natural. I've raised more hair since the beginning of the year, too.


I wouldn't always suspect an "automatic" rise in price at the barbershop.
If the prices there had been boosted in par with every time the admission rates went up, haircuts would be at least $125 or so by now.
