Barb & Tony -they mentioned you!

Barb & Tony - At the Castaway Club recption, they mentioned how happy they were to see repeat cruisers. The officer said, "Someone has even cruised with us 25 times, and we have only been in business for 3 1/2 years."

I started to correct him and say that it is actually 26 times and that you were in WDW at that very moment..but I let it go.

When he said this, people ooooohed and ahhhhhhhed.

Seems DCL knows who you are!!!!!!!

On our 8/3/02 Magic cruise, Barb and Tony were mentioned also, not by name but we knew who they were talking about!!!!

That's pretty neat! They mentioned them on our cruise, but they were INDEED on our cruise. LOL!!! Is that really true about the autographed picture? Have you guys ever gotten special treatment or complimentary items? Any upgrades? Being such loyal repeat customers.

I was joking about the autographed picture. I just think that Matt needs a picture of his #1 cruise couple. If I could answer for Barb & Tony (who I had the pleasure of meeting at a pin meet in Chicago last month), they receive no preferential treatment from DCL. Just the same Castaway Club benefits that any returning cruiser receives (although I think that every castmember on the Disney Wonder knows them by name).

I'm curious...which of the captains mentioned us? In the course of our many cruises, we have had the pleasure of meeting all of them at the Castaway Club parties. They are all great!
Of course, we have to compliment the whole DCL crew...they really treat us like family. I think they have spoiled us from sailing any other cruise line!

I always crack up at how they have the "generic blond captain" pin on the DCL boats and how since all of the captains are norwegian, it works. Pretty soon they are going to have a "generic cruisers" pin and it's going to be Barb & Tony's portrait on that pin. I think at the very least they should get a "free day at the spa" pass for their loyalty! Maybe for your 50th cruise you will!

LOL, Lisa!! There have been three styles of the Castaway Club pin already, so maybe when they do a new one, it can feature us Of course, I'd rather see 5650 renamed as the "Barb and Tony Suite."

Captain Tom mentioned that same couple on our 10/05 cruise--I whispered to my husband "He means Barb and Tony!" and he just looked at me the way he often does.
