Bar at California Grill?

Is there still a bar/lounge at the California Grill and if so, does it have a great view? We have a dinner ADR at Concourse Steakhouse, but I thought it might be nice to get to the Contemporary a bit early and have a drink in the bar if we can.

Any thoughts?

Great bar, a bit of a view, but your looking over tables--it's probably 30 feet from the windows. If you go before your dinner you should be able to go up. They wo'nt let people up if they don't have room though.

what you can do is get some seats in the lounge, which is right by the windows. there are chairs and tables that come available. you can sit there and order drinks, desert or food. We have done this many times either before dinner or just going to the lounge to get flatbreads, appetizers or deserts and drinks. i highly recommend this.

A word of warning: when we visited CG in August, we were there from 8:10 until around 11. The same parties were at the lounge tables and the bar throughout this time. It was especially frustrating because we had to stand near the elevators until our table was ready -- nearly an hour!!! Many other guests had to do the same.
