Banshee toy question

So my kids have seen these and really want to get one when we go to AK. I have 2 questions about these toys.
1. There is a matching ceremony so would it be possible for them to share one? Will it "match" with 2 kids at once?
2. What do people do with them when they ride things like FOP? Is there a place to put your box with them?

I’m sure the cast member can find a way for one banshee to be matched to two kids - if they’re not very young, they know it’s not real anyway.
There are storage shelves directly behind you where you place everything during the ride.

My daughter was able to keep hers there after purchasing it for the remainder of the day until we picked it back up. They made a big deal about it being “taken care of” and “watched”. She signed it in as though it was in daycare. The CMs made it fun for her to leave.

The matching ceremony is just for show, so yes 2 kids can share one. When my boys bought theirs last year, we filled out papers so we could pick it up at the front of the park at the end of the day. I can't remember where it was, maybe guest services, but it was great, we didn't have to carry it around all day and just stopped in on our way out of the park. I think they said it would be a couple hours, which was fine as it was morning and we were spending the day at AK.

Also, if you’re staying onsite and not checking out that day or the next, they’ll send it to your resort .... but if the kids are excited to play with it, you may not want to do that.

I see a lot of people "wearing" them on their shoulders. Pretty much all rides at Disney can accommodate items so other than the hassle, there's no reason it can't be carried around.

I have watched matching ceremonies for 2 kids several times so it can be done.
You can take it with you, have it sent to the front gate and pick it up at guest services or if you are staying onsite, it can be sent to your room and picked up at the store at your resort the next day.

Our friends bought them and let their girls wear them on their shoulders. After a period of time though they went back to the store and asked if they could pick them up when they were leaving. The CMs had no problem with this. It was a really hot day and I think the girls lost interest in carrying them around.
