Bankrupcy ?

I just heard on the Sunday morning news Delta might go bankrupt. Call me stupid but I don't know if this will affect my trip, I am flying out from Logan on Nov. 13, if Bankrupcy happens do then still fly until the deal is all done?

Then Im stupid too. I was wondering the same thing. Only I have 2 different flights booked on Song and Im wondering if "Delta" going bankrupt would affect them since they are somehow related.

They will not stop flying. Chapter 11 Bankruptcy gives them protection while they reorganize. United has been in bankruptcy for some time and they haven't stopped flying. USAir is in bankruptcy for the second time in a couple years and they are still flying.

I agree with DebbieB. They are probably going to file the Chapter11 to keep the wolves from the door so to speak, while they 'reorganize' I would not worry about it.

however, during reorganization they most likely will cut staff and flights, with US AIR we had our itinerary changed a couple times. they also could close down operations in an area that is not very much used, for example US AIR has scaled back its Pittsburgh services to next to nothing, or may have discontinued it completely by now.
