Banking transfered point ?

I am needing extra points to use July 2012.
If I find someone to transfer points to me, can I bank transfered points?
Can they transfer banked points?

Does the original UY still apply or does my UY apply to their transfered points?

I am just wanting to make sure I understand before I do something

this makes sense to me, but i'm not sure anyone has tested it out yet. the trades don't tend to be a very good deal in the first place which is why virtually no one rents pts to cruise or stay at the poly...
