Banking questioin...brain freeze

I am having a brain freeze and add to it my Member Guidbook was left at my brother's place about 2 hours away.

I have an April use year and all my 2004 points are committed. I want to book a trip for December 2004 using my 2005 points. Can I DO that on 1/12/04 which is the 11 month window for me or do I have to wait until APRIL?
