Banking Points

Quick question on banking. If I bank this years points. When I make a reservation for my next use year will DVC automatically use my banked points first in securing the reservation than use my current use year points?

They are suppose to, but it is your responsibility to see that it happens.

MS will usually use the banked points first, but it is wise to always verify that with them before hanging up from the call. You can also verify the number of banked points in your account by checking online.

As noted, it is supposed to be automatic that banked points get used first but if you get someone who is fairly new to MS when you call to make your reservation mistakes can sometimes be made, so always mention that you want to use banked points first.
