Banking points question

I have my books in front of me that give the banking deadlines, but still have a question. I have 150 points. My use year is Oct.
My recent trip was 65 points
My trip in Nov is 75 points.
That leaves 10 points, that I will gladly bank into next year. When we I call MS to bank them? Like maybe August, or is that not soon enough?

If your use year is October, you can't bank current year points after August 1st. You'll need to bank your 10 points prior to August 1st.

The answers to your questions depend on which use years you are talking about. If you borrowed 65 points from 2005 for your first trip, and are using 75 '05 points for your November trip, you have until 7/31/2006 to bank the remaining 10 2005 points.

However, if any of those points are 2004 points, that changes everything. Let us know if any of them are 2004, because that is a very different situation which could mean losing points if you're not careful.

NO, that is NOT right! If you are talking about 2005 points, you can't bank them until the use year begins on October 1, 2005. If they are 2004 points, they must be banked BEFORE 7/31/2005...not in September.

Jim, I think I'm confused now. (not due to your answer, you are very helpful)
They are all 2005 points. I borrowed the 65 points for the last trip, will be using 75 points for Nov trip, which leaves me w/10 points.
I am a fairly new member and never had 2004 points, became a member the 1st week of 12/04.

Okay, that's good.

You can bank those 10 points any time AFTER the use year begins on October 1, 2005 - up to July 31, 2006 (because 10 points is <25% of 150).

In that case, the reservations are all using '05 points, and you can not bank any points from '05 until you are actually in that use year. You can do that AFTER October 1st of this year.

The Red Sox are the Champions of the World, and you should leave it up. Realistically though, don't expect to keep it there forever.

Teams usually only win the World Series once every five or six years...at least WE do!

I don't expect to keep it up forever, I am realistic.
Yes, I am aware that the Marlins won 2 in their short history. I do root for them in the NL. Must be because their a FL team, and I can't see rooting for the Devil Ray's (hope I didn't offend anyone from Tampa)
