Can someone help walk me thru the banking points process? We are new DVC owners, we bought at Riv last October (155pts, Dec UY). We haven’t even been able to get down to stay there yet! After cancelling 2 trips (March and June), we have a split stay booked and of August (Poly/Riv). We used all 155 pts for this trip plus we bought 12(I think?) OTUP. I am trying to mentally and practically prepare for a potential cancellation.
1. With a Dec UY, July 31 is my banking deadline, correct?
2. What would happen to the OTUP? Are we just out of luck on those?
3. What does the process look like? I cancel the trip, and then bank the points? Can I do that all online or do I need to call? Any waiting between cancelling/banking?
4. Anything else I should know or be prepared for?
I really hope it doesn’t come to this, but may daughter and I both have asthma, and I really don’t want to risk Covid exposure by traveling; I am also concerned about PA implementing mandatory quarantines.
