banking points and transferring

DW and I want to buy a small second DVC resale.
1)Can you bank points two or more years ahead.?
eg. Can i bank my 2004 80 points to the 2006 use year.
2) Can a member transfer points from one account to the next use year of another account ?

what is your use year ? for example you can bank your 80 as long as you didnt miss the banking dead line. lets say you have april use year and you bank your 2004 80 points, you will get the 80 points back april 1, 2005 and would have to use the 80 points by march 31, 2006. once points are bank and borrow you cannot not transfer those points.

just remeber if you bank those points you cannot use those points for a ressies starting before april 2005, you cannot borrow banked points.

if you receive transfer points make sure those points can be transfer into the use year you need them for, you also can bank transffered points according to the dvc rules.

The answer to this is no. You can only bank points from the original year into the next use year. In your example, you can bank your 2004 use year points into your 2005 use year. The month of your use year has no bearing on this.

What you can do, however is to bank and borrow points in a manner that allows you to use three years of points at one time. Example....bank your 2004 use year points into 2005. Borrow your 2006 use year points into 2005. You would then have three years worth of points to make a reservation in 2005.


2) Can a member transfer points from one account to the next use year of another account ?
