I have read and read and read and still can't wrap my mind around this.
We have 150 points at Poly with a March UY. We just banked the rest of our points from this year(2016 UY right?) which puts us at 288 points for 2017. We are wanting to book at AKL-Kidani for April 2017(wanting to book tonight or tomorrow) and the way I have it right now it will be between 394-417 points depending on how we decide to split our party and rooms.
My understanding is that if I borrow against 2018 that I will have until Feb 28, 2018 to use those points, correct? I'm extremely afraid of borrowing points and loosing out on them so I want to make sure that I am understanding everything correct before I do this since we would be borrowing almost a full year worth of points.
TIA
ETA -- If say we wanted to do a 2018 trip in March we could still borrow against 2019 and use the rest of the 2018 points correct? My guess is something like this becomes a vicious cycle where you're constantly using the next year.
