Since we just joined DVC in August, we decided to postpone our first trip until November of 2003 because we didn't feel we were ready to take a 7 month old along with our 2 1/2 yo. Also, we thought we might not be able to get into any DVC resort for this November.
I have heard several success stories about waitlists coming in, and we are re-thinking our position. The only problem is that we signed the waiver to bank our first year's point already.
My question is simple: Can we re-borrow those banked points into our current use year?

you can never unbank, it is a permanent transaction. You can however borrow next years points but just be aware that the banked points will expire at the end of your use year next year. Also, not sure how many points you will need, but you only will borrow the exact number of points you need.
