what do you do with a few banked points you have left over? they can't be transferred and they aren't enough for a reservation.

Your only option is to borrow a few points from your next use year and see if you can so at least one night for someone between now and September 30, 2005. I can usually help out in a case like this so your points are not lost. let me know. docdds@aol.com

If you have a reservation for a stay before 9/30/05 that hasn't happened yet, you could ask MS to reallocate points to free up current year points. Those could be banked. If you don't have such a pending reservation, about all you can do is rent a reservation to someone. Obviously, you'd have to borrow points from next year to get enough to make the one night (or longer) reservation.

If it were me, I'd probably let them expire. The hassle and risk of renting a reservation that will occur late in my use year and requires borrowed points, just wouldn't be worth it to me.
