I have a dec uy. I have 280 2020 points left. I have to use or bank by July correct? If I bank them, they go into the 2021 year, so when would they be available to use to book a trip? Does the trip have to start after December 2021? I am probably going to end up renting them out and I'm just trying to decide when I need to start trying to do that. We don't have any plans to go at all until after summer 2022. Then we were going to bank our 2022 points for a longer stay in 2023 in a 1-2 bdrm instead of a studio. Am I thinking about this wrong? Is there something else I should be doing? I thought I understood all of this when we purchased, but now that I'm actually doing it I am second guessing myself.

Yes, 2020 points need to be banked by July 31st, 2021. If you banked them today, they can be used to book any trip starting Dec 1st, 2021 through November 30, 2022.

Right now, you can book your home resort for check in dates starting as late as March 14th, 2022.
