Banked points/tranfers

I have banked a small number of points into my Oct 2007 UY. I know they must be used by the end of Sept 2008 but can they be tranfered during the same UY? Wasn't sured if there was any rule since they have already been banked. Did that make sense? lol

You cannot transfer banked points. You can bank transferred points though.

If you banked points into your October 2007 use year, they must be used by the end of September 2008. (Posting just in case the Sept 2007 wasn't just a typo).

And LisaS is correct. Once you bank points, they cannot be transferred. So the points that were originally 2006 use year points (and banked into 2007) cannot be transferred. However, you could transfer your 2007 current use year points.

Thank you for the info. That's what I thought. And yes, I meant Sept 2008. I only have these 3 points left in my 2007 UY and a friend was short 3 points for a trip. I was hoping to tranfer the points to him.

Since it's a friend - he could transfer enough points to you to make one night's reservation. Then you could arrange to have that night linked to his reservation. It would use up the "one transfer" per use year for both of you, but that may not be a problem.
