Bank, UY, Borrowed Points? Which used first?

I will be making a reservation for Dec 11 that will involved banked, UY, and borrowed points. Do they take these in a certain order? In other words...
if I reserve three rooms and end up cancelling one- I would like the one I cancel to consist of points of the current use year so I could be more flexible and bank those for the next year if not used. How would that work? Would they take the banked points first to fufill a res, then UY, then go to borrowing points? If I cancel one or all days of one room res-
ex: have 68 banked, 35 UY, and 150 borrowed in
a reservation involving
2, 1 BR - 50 points each
and 1 - 2bR 155 points
potential i might have to cx a 1br but want to make the res as difficult time of year to get it.

They should (I say should) use banked, than current use year and then work with you to borrow those needed to complete the reservation.

ideally, yes. they would use banked pts first, and then current year pts and finally ask you if you wanted to borrow if necessary to cover the rest of the reservation.

when cancelling, you should be able to ask the CM to return your current year pts first - so that you can bank them if you want - and reallocate the banked and borrowed pts to the remaining reservation.

but some CMs are not as experienced so you'll want to verify that they do this correctly, though, as mistakes have happened...

MS is very good at making sure you get the most out of your points. They will use banked points first for reservations and return current year points first for any cancelations.
