Bank or Rent

Which is better to do with my left over points for this year bank them or rent them and use the money toward the fees?

We don't have a lot of points and I was thinking of staying at BCV or AKV.

Or having half the money for the fees come January is also a plus.

Bank them. Then you have them to use next year.
