are previously purchased park bands good on a cruise to use for entry to kids club? I heard things were being linked.

The bands in the kid's club hold different info. I'm not sure whether they can be programmed to do that. It's only for checking in and out and helping locate the child within the club space. Doesn't open doors, or charge anything.

we asked when we cruised last month and we were told that the bands were not interchangeable.

They issue KTTWC's for cruises. The only bands issued are for kids clubs and they are not magic bands to gain entry in the cabins or purchase. They are to keep track of the the kids in the clubs.
