Howdy bandie/guardie DISers! It's that time again, and i'd thought I'd start up the Band thread again for marching season!

I'm on guard, as co-captain of the flagline.

Our first game is tonight! YAY! lol... Our show is "Brass Revolutions" with 'Free' by Chicago, 'Spinning Wheel' by Blood, Sweat, and Tears, and 'Getaway/September' by Earth Wind and Fire.

hey-I'm not a bando-as they call themselves at my school--but I am friends with several of them! Our first game is also tonight. This year our show features the Beatles!!!
I cannot wait to hear them!

Hey i'm new to the boards but definitely not to disney world or band lol! i play the flute and our first game is tonight too.
our show is "what is hip?" - tower of power, "soul vaccination" -tower of power, and "watermelon man" - herbie hancock.

I was a band geek for the years until i graduated last year. Last week was our first game and some of my friends that are in it have told me that they are doing Shrek this year. I get to go to tonight's game so they better be good. lol.

In my school, they call them band nerds.

I'm not in band, but my brother is and a lot of my friends. They're theme is Pirates of the Carabbean (sp). So it's cool. Our first game was last week. But they are only playing at homecoming game which is October first.

I'm not in high school yet but I do play in the school band as trumpet. In high school I;m joining the traveling Band though.

We had our first High-School Football game was played at yesterday night. 42-0 us We had to sit there the whole time except for 3rd quarter and we played the school song 10 times. We play, the Flinstones theme, Rock and Roll all night, The Hey song, Land of 1000 dances, George of the Jungle, Hey Baby (Not the No Doubt Version) And some others......

I'm a freshman this year so its my first season of marching...but I'm a drummer chick...I have to play base drum...we've already played at 2 games, at our last game though...we have been playing Lady Marmelade and on the 10th the drum line had a big solo...plus our whole band was dancing on the feild...and cheerleaders game out too! We kicked....NEVER MIND!

Spinning Wheel is one of our pep band songs.

Our music is called circutry, but our show is called sequences. It's kinda techno and stuff. I think Lauren [Disnee15] has a capy of it on her computer.

Our first football game was like 3 weeks ago, but there was a lighting storm so we couldn't play becuase IISMA is gay. The first game we played at was Friday. It was pretty good. Then Saturday we marched in a parade then we had a contest so I was at band all day Saturday. We got 3rd out of 6 =)

This is my first year out of band. the college doent have one. anyways i went to practice and it is looking really good. i cant remember the name of the show that they are doing this year... but their frist TOB is oct. 2 i cant wait! hehe i hope that all of your shows are doing well. I play flute and at our skewl they are band geeks and orcha dorks! We really dont do ANYTHING AT ALL! but writing ok tell me who else practically only writes in band class it's pretty stupid if ya ask me! But all my friends think band is stupid!Back me up here!!

well i used to be in guard but i quit last year (multiple reasons) i had done it for two and a half years. this year they are doing disney songs as their field show and they are dancing with brooms and mops for the sorcerer's apprentice song. hope you bandies all have fun (i cant post what we call them at school if you get my drift just kidding!) and good luck to all of you during your season!!
