Band-Aid Friction Block anyone?

They sell this Friction Block stick at Walmart and it says it is for feet or other body parts in order to prevent excessive friction. Does anyone know if this would be similar to bodyglide?

I've used it for several years and just love it! (they used to call it Blister Block) Also gave it to my kids for their families, and they love it, too.

We've used this on our feet for several years and love it. My kids take it to camp to prevent blisters when they are in and out of the pool and sandals all day.
