I saw a rumour from earlier this year that the 'Ohana menu was changing and they were dropping the Banana Bread Pudding for dessert. This is my family's favourite dessert at WDW.

Has anyone eaten at 'Ohana in late April or May who can reassure me that this ugly rumour is not true.

P.S. I apologize for the extra "u's" in rumour and favourite, but I am Canadian, eh! :rotfl2:

We were there the first week in April and the bread pudding was there and I was so relieved as it was our first time trying this fantastic creation!

we were there around 4/20 and they had it...YUMMY!!!

We were just there on May 1st and we were happy to see the bread pudding is still there -- delicious as always. It too is one of our favorites so hopefully it is staying. We did however, miss the potatoes and the wonton chips.

do they have it at breakfast by any chance?? I'm doubtful, but man would I enjoy a little bread pudding when we do bfast there!

OP, you're Canadian eh? Me too :upsidedow

It's my family's favorite dessert ever at WDW -- and the only time we have ever asked for seconds on dessert! And we have never liked bread pudding before, so we didn't even leave extra room for it!!!!!

We would be crushed if they went back to pineapple -- we can so easily do that at home.

If the bread pudding with the amazing banana sauce stays on the menu, we're going to 'Ohana on our next trip!

Great to hear about the Bread Pudding but are you saying the Maui Scalloped Potatoes are no longer on the menu. That was another favourite.

Oh well, more room for the Bread Pudding.

I like the bbp less than the original desert pineapple in caramel sauce IMO that was YUMMY :goodvibes

Yeah, unfortunately they've replaced the Maui Scalloped Potatoes with some sort of Asian noodle dish. I loved the potatoes, but I've heard some say the noodles are pretty good.
