Hello! I am headed to Baltimore next week for a mini vacation with my DH and just wondering if anyone has any restaurant suggestions. I like seafood, he likes steak. Willing to splurge a bit, it is a vacation after all. We do have tickets at Camden Yards Tuesday night and would love food suggestions for there too. Thanks in advance!!

Are you going to the Inner Harbor? If so, there are a bunch of great resturants down there. They have Hard Rock, Cheesecake Factory and some smaller ones also. For steak, we personally love Morton's steakhouse that is located in the Sheraton at Inner Harbor. We also like Legal Sea Food for awesome fresh seafood. They also have outdoor dining. Right in the Light Street Pavilion is Phillips Seafood. It is an awesome place. I had the best crab legs and my DH had lobster tail and they were both so delish. Plus they have outdoor seating that overlooks the harbor. It is also very cool and romantic at night with the lights all twinkling!

We only live 1.5 hours away so we go there alot on the weekends. There are so many wonderful rest. down there so it is hard to choose- but those above are our favorites. Have a great time!

If you are looking at Philips, there are three in the same building. One is a counter service place, another buffet, and lastly a sit down restaurant. I would recommend the sit down one. The buffet is expensive for what you get (although, lunch isn't too bad).

Yes, I forgot to mention. We wil be in the Inner Harbor area and are staying at the Hyatt.

Phillips sounds great, I love crab legs. Do you know if they offer non seafood dishes? DH is not a fan.

Ooh, you are staying at the Hyatt? It is a beautiful hotel. They also have a great resturant located there on the top floor, Pisces. It is also very good. We had a Sunday brunch there once and it was wonderful but can't comment on the dinner food. It had an amazing view of the harbor though!

Great! Thanks for the menu. The Hyatt looks beautiful in pics and I can't wait to see it. I saw that Pisces restaurant on their website and was wondering if it was as good as it looked. Thanks again!

I just wanted to thank everyone for the advice. We had a great trip and even ate at Philips. The crab legs were amazing! Now I am looking forward to Fulton's in 2 weeks. :goodvibes

If you haven't already done so google up the "Fells Point" historic area. (you would take the water taxi there). Reminds me of the North End of Boston (as in old & historic) and has many restaurants and nightclubs. We ate at an italian restaurant next to the Ferry drop that was great. You would want to spend a few hours at Fells Point whether eating there or not.

Also near the Harbor & Fells Point is Obrykis (i think that's the spelling) Crab Joint. Which is amazing...you get to smash the crabs on your table. (don't know about steaks there though).

have fun. :thumbsup2

EDITED - JUST SAW YOU'VE ALREADY GONE. (oh well....i bet you ate some great seafood!)

Thanks Hound! We are back, but are planning to go again next summer. We had a great time, but did not visit Fells Point. That is something we will have to do next time.
