Hi - we're planning a quick trip to Baltimore, MD this weekend and I'd love some advice, please!

We've never been there, however we have memberships to a couple of museums & zoos here which has reciprocal programs with Baltimore Zoo and Port Discovery so we'd love to take advantage of that.

Any great budget tips or must sees you can recommend? Ooh, one more thing - more importantly - any hotels you can recommend?! :goodvibes

THANKS a bunch!

Def. hit up the Baltimore Aquarium and the Maryland Science Center. Both are located at the Inner Harbor.

The O's are playing at home this weekend also. Take a trip to one of the more impressive Ballparks in the league. Grab a bite in the stadium at Boogs BBQ (behind the centerfield wall).

Take a trip to Fells Point
Take a trip to Ft. McHenry (where the Star Spangled Banner was written).

I'm sorry I don't have much in the way of suggestions for Hotels. I live here so I have no need to stay in one. I would only offer to see if you can find one in Baltimore County (north of the city). Might save you some $ oppossed to one in the city itself.
Stay away from West Baltimore.
