Has anyone flown through this airport? We are looking at a flight with Airtran though here in March but there is only 46 minutes between flights. Any idea if this is enough time?

If the connecting flight is also with Airtran you should be fine. All the Airtran flights should be clustered in the same concourse.

I agree. As long as your connecting is with AT you will be fine.

I disagree. 46 minutes is not enough time between flights if your first flight is delayed. Last January we flew Airtran from San Francisco to BWI through Millwauke with 2 hours between flights. Our flight out of San Francisco was delayed and we got to Millwauke 30 minutes before our connecting flight was supposed to leave. We were told we would be fine as we were arriving at the next gate. We got off the plane very quickly only to find our flight had left early and we had to spend the night. They did give us a voucher for a discounted rate at the Holiday Inn, but we were not happy.

I would never book a connecting flight with less than 90 minutes between flights. The gates are very close together at BWI, but you never know if your first flight will be delayed.

Airtran is now in the new Southwest Concourse.
As long as they're on-time, and you're not stuck clear at the back, that is enough of a MCT. Many of the sites won't let you book if the MCT is outside of the minimum required.

If you're flight is delayed, they'll be responsible for getting you where you're going, and if its MCO there are lots of flights through BWI.
