Balcony for Fireworks at CG?

We have a 8:50 pm ADR for CG. We had already planned on arriving early and having a cocktail at the bar. Wishes starts at 8pm that night. I've read that there is some sort of balcony at the CG where you can watch Wishes. Is that true? Will they let us out there if we have an ADR - but haven't been seated yet? Any replies appreciated!

I could be wrong but I thought I had read they didn't take you upstairs to CG until your table was ready.

I believe now when you check in for the CG, they'll call upstairs and see if there is room for you at the bar. If so, you'll be allowed to go up. Otherwise, you will need to wait downstairs. I think the 4th floor observation deck would be open to you in a worst case scenario.

We were just there. You should be allowed to have a drink in the bar before you eat. One evening we just hung out in the bar and had a few drinks.
And, if you have eaten there anytime during the day you can return later on the same day to view the fireworks by showing your meal receipt.
