Balcony at Portofino Bay?

Hi

Okay, I am thinking of switching our reservation to Portofino Bay because I can get an APH rate (none for HRH ). We stayed in a Bay View (standard) room last Christmas, but didn't get a balcony.

Which rooms have a balcony?

Take a look at some pictures of the hotel. Pretty much all of the rooms on the top floor of the east wing have full balconies with table and chairs. There are also some with stepouts on other floors. The west wing has balconies all across the top floor as well but those are villa parlors and deluxe rooms. The west wing also has rooms with stepouts on lower floors. There are also some deluxe rooms in the villa wing with full balconies and more with stepouts.

Thanks! So a bay-view room is the best option for getting a balcony then? Guess we were unlucky last time....

How about Deluxe Rooms? Can you get a deluxe overlooking the bay with a full balcony? (not much to ask! )

There are bay view deluxes with full balconies. They are on the top floor of the west wing. To my knowledge there are at least four (maybe more) of them. If they are not being used in conjunction with the suites then they assign them as deluxe rooms. There are also deluxe rooms in the parts of the villa wing that over looks the bay. Some have stepout balconies but most of them connect to the Pres. and Gov. Suites.
