Balance payments

Hi

We booked our trip over the phone, paying the 10% deposit on our credit card. The balance was due 8th august but has yet to go through on our credit card, are they normally late in requesting it and would they phone if there was a problem, it's a tesco MasterCard and they can sometimes refuse large payments but normally call if that's the case.

Can phone Disney in the morning but worrying a wee bit.
 
Lots of people find that Disney take the money later then planned. When we booked our trip it was paid for in one go & they took about 1 week to take the money

Hmmmm not sure this is the first booking I've made with them direct, they gave me the option to automatically take the balance or for me to arrange payment.

Oh really? that was handy.
When I booked the other day I was just told that the balance had to be paid 30 days before arrival.. I presumed that I had to initiate the payment
 
When I booked they gave me a deadline for the balance payment and said I could ring again or log into the My Disneyland section of the DLP website to make the payment.

However, I rang back with a query and the CM insisted on taking my cc details so the money could be taken automatically on deadline day.

Turned out Disney had requested it and cc had refused. Disney said they had sent me a letter out but not arrived yet. Anyway tried with same credit card again today and now paid........

Disney say it happens all the time.

Stupid credit card! Called to complain and they gave me a story about payment and claim for money overlapping, not according to my statement but done now :headache:

Every time I have booked over the phone they automatically arrange to take the payment 60 days before.
 
Glad it's all sorted now :)

So they hadn't automatically cancelled your booking? That's my main fear...I'm a bit of a worrier :headache:
 
Me too, that's what worried me.

CM said they would always contact you first in that circumstance.
