I was just wondering if it is feasible to purchase croissants (or other similar items) from France at WS and keep them for breakfast the next day.

Will they wrap them/package them where they could stay fresh? DH and I will probably eat breakfast in the room on occasion and thought this would be something good to have.

I have never had luck keeping croissants overnight, unless I could warm them slightly in the microwave to soften them. They tend to get dry and hard quickly, if no preservatives are added. If you are staying at the Yacht club, the bakeryarea over by the Beach club had some pretty good items. Sorry I can't remember the name of it.

I know if you buy a lot of pasteries, they'll give you a large box to store them ... I'm not sure if they would wrap them individually though.

I've done that by bringing the giant ziploc bags (gallon size) and stored many bakery items for the next morning.

That is a great idea! I will probably do that and buy something other than croissants. However, we are staying at the YC so we will try the bakery at the Boardwalk as well.

Thanks everyone!

Croissants don't seem to keep well overnight, but their other pastries do. You might ask them if they could wrap your order in plastic wrap.
