Baja Cruise from San Diego or Eastern Caribbean from Port Canaveral?

My family has completed two cruises - one on the magic to the Bahamas from Miami, the other on the Dream from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas. We want to try either a longer Caribbean one (probably Eastern) or Baja. Our kids are 6 and 4, would be almost 5 and 7 by cruise time. Which would people pick?

You might try reposting this on the main cruising board. This sub forum doesn't get a ton of traffic. Personality, I'd vote longer.
