Bahamas Cocktail Party - update with HRC glass disaster!

We are hosting a Bahamas Cocktail Party round our house tonight for our friends who we usually spend New Year with. But this year they are off to the Bahamas. So to get them in the mood I thought we would host a cocktail party with a bahamas theme

We had a great time and really got into the themeing

The pina colada was my favourite as well as the Bahama Mamas which went down too well!!!!

I have just taken the glasses from the dishwasher and the words and pattern on the Hard Rock Cafe Bahamas glass has washed away.

I did point out at the time that this glass looked fake but we got it ourselves from the Hard Rock Cafe in Nassau so it is really strange.

I will have to make sure my friends bring me back another glass while they are away for New Year.

They are staying at Sandals so not sure how close that is to Nassau?

Oh I guess if the worse comes to the worse we will have to book another cruise!!

I have just taken the glasses from the dishwasher and the words and pattern on the Hard Rock Cafe Bahamas glass has washed away.

Oh no! I never put our special glasses in the dishwasher for that exact reason, we had some lovely ones which faded and then the writing had just gone after one wash. A lot of decorated glasses tell you only to put them in the dw on the top shelf.

It would be terrible if your friends couldn't get you another one - it would mean going back yourselves!
