We are thinking of taking a off site visit to this restaurant in September. Anyone ever been there? If so, what's the easiest way to get there, with no rental car? And quickest? What would be good to order? How's the Seafood Paella? I would love to try that. Thanks for any info. :goodvibes

I've only eaten at the Bahama Breeze in Seattle, but it was great!
Lots of food and fun atmosphere.

We ate there in March. It was great and beautiful. We had Beef kabobs and banana bread for dessert. We will go again.

Great choice of restaurant - it's one of our favorite offsite places to eat, along with Carabbas & Outback

To hard to tell you how to get there. Not sure how it would be done without a car as it sits on the corner of a major intersection but with no "entertainment" around it. Although it is right in front of the Marriott complex of three hotels.

I've been a few times but have never had the paella. I will say, in my opinion, the kebabs look to be the best thing on the menu. I have never had them but have seen others order them and they are impressive looking. I'm going to get them next time I go.

With no rental car the easiest way to get to Bahama Breeze is to take a taxi. There are two BBs in the area one on International Drive and the one that's closer to Disney property on Vineland Avenue at the intersection with Route 535 (S. Apopka/Vineland Road). It's a fun restaurant with a patio area that you can wait for your table, have drinks and listen to the band on nights that they have one playing.

Thanks for the info. Since we have a $50 gift card, I guess I shouldn't mind paying a cab to get there. Thanks everyone. :wizard:

We had the Seafood Paella when we went and I thought it was tasty, but I did leave off the mussels in exchange for extra scallops. I really like the burgers here and the Banana Bread dessert is to die for, ask for extra sauce/nuts, too good!!!

Call ahead and put your name on the waiting list. Last time we were there it was a 45 minute wait if you called or over 3 hours if you didn't.

I second the above the line gets quite long....only time we didn't wait was about 3:30-4pm and it was just the two of us, every other time it's been a long time.
