Baggallini Messenger Bag question

I've read through most of the park bag thread... I think i'm going to get the Baggallini Messenger bag for our trip this September.

Can someone tell me if it would fit a large camera not in it's case? It's not a DSLR but it's almost as big. Do you think that it'll be safe on a splash ride or if it rains?

I welcome any other bag suggestions as well.

Yep. I have one and it is HUGE. LOVE it! But... I won't be taking it this time, as my baby is a now a preschooler and out of diapers and I am looking to trim down my bag. So I bought a smallish Baggallini Wallet Bagg - and I LOVE it too! But anyway, there is enough room in the messenger bag - you will be amazed at how roomy it is.

I love my baggallini! I had one shipped to me in Canada, and have been using it lightly for the past month.

Then on Sunday, we spent the day at the Toronto Zoo. I was able to fill it with everything I needed, and still had room! And my shoulders never got sore like a purse would have made them!

I carried one last year when we went... If your camera isn't as big as a DSLR, you'd be OK. I would recommend putting it in a neoprene case or a gallon size Ziploc bag. We even put our wallets in a ziploc when we went on the water rides. You'll LOVE the pocket that'll be on your chest w/ the strap--- PERFECT for your tix for FP! I even put my BlackBerry Pearl (phone) in that same pocket!
