Baggage Claim?

With the land/sea package do you need to claim your baggage at the airport or will it get transferred directly to our hotel? We have the transfers included in our package with the luggage tags.

We did land & sea for our first DCL cruise. We put the tags on our bags in Des Moines and the next time we saw them was in our hotel room. We had DCL transfers to the park then to the port. Kathy
