Bag recommendations?

I was out looking yesterday and tried the baggallini big zipper bagg on as a waist pack.

I'm thinking it's probably too big, but maybe the smaller zipper bagg would work?

I really like this option, as I can wear it cross-body except for FJ and Spiderman (it would take a miracle to get my tweens on a big rolly-ghoster). Does anyone have experience with either of these bags?

You can wear it as a cross body on Spiderman.

Those don't look like they would be accepted on Forbidden Journey. They need to have the three prong clasp or no clasps at all. If the strap is removable it must be adjoined with a three prong clasp.

This might work... http://www.baggallini.com/the-collections/quilt/wanderer-bagg/

By "3 prong" do you mean clasps like a plastic belt buckle on a daypack?

I'm guessing it's the kind that you have to squeeze the side edges in order to get out of the plastic caselike thing you have to put it into when putting the fanny pack on. I just got a pack like that ealier this week for the trip. I'm glad I've been planning ahead. Never would have known about the bag restrictions otherwise.

Many of the other people coming along on this trip (As it is for Chorus and Band) are talking about bringing backpacks into the park with them. If they want to ride FJ, Hulk, and DC, they'd better be ready for lockers. The other two in my group were already warned about their rules. :thumbsup2

Yes, like this.

If the TMs decide to really enforce the rules, it comes down to the buckle and the size of the bag.

Which baggallini did you take?

The last trip - this one. I have a few and they all convert to a waist pack. I like this one the best. It's a 3 way, shoulder. across, and waist.

That's exactly the one I tried on, though I was thinking of the next smaller size. Have you had any issues with it on FJ when you make it into a waist pack?

I like the looks of that one so much better than the Kipling, but I really, really want to avoid lockers. Of course, if I can't talk my mom into a fanny pack, it doesn't really matter, as she'll need a locker and I'll just put my stuff in with her.

Last trip, 5 days, stopped once at MIB but let through. I used it every day. It lays very close to the body. So far this is my favorite comfort wise. I used it as a waist pack on the rides I had to. Otherwise I used it as an across bag. FJ, every morning every day not a problem. :thumbsup2

Cool! I think that's what I'm going to get.

I had lunch with mom today and we went over rides and things. She can't ride anything that spins, so if it becomes an issue, I can leave my bag with her. She and ds1 may be spending a lot of time bonding and talking while ds2 and I ride the moderate thrill rides.

Thanks for the info on that one, btw. I'm thinking I'm going to be ok with the Baggallini, since mom won't do too many of the rides that require waist packs.
