Bag checks vs no bag line

We are heading to Disney this summer and I was hoping to not have to go through bag check. In the past I have used a fanny pack, mainly for my phone. I have found some lanyards that you can hook you phone to and carry it cross body. Has anyone used one and were you able to go through the no bag line with it. Thanks. I would think you would be able to take that through the no bag line. It isn't a bag. Just be aware that you will likely have to go through the medical detectors.

Thought 1: It looks like a decent thing to carry to Disney. I think I like this version, which popped up as a "this might interest you" thing underneath -- it looks a little more secure to me. I do like the over-the-shoulder thing; I don't think I'd like a plain lanyard; I think it'd get heavy on the neck.

If you're going with this, I think you'd want one of those "pockets" that attaches to the back of your phone too. It'd allow you to carry a paper ticket and a credit card -- I have a couple of these that've been give-aways from various businesses -- seems like it'd be a good companion for the above product:

Thought 2: As much as I pack light (and am never unhappy with that choice), if you're used to having a bit of "stuff", do consider whether the couple minutes saved at the bag check is worthwhile. I say this only because you say you're used to having a fanny pack.
