bad times in vmk

i am starting to think that vmk is not the same happy place it use to be. no more vmk at DLR, taken has taken over (hey that rimes) and things are just not the same anymore. rember this time last year all the fun we had. i think that if taken gets ban along with "bay be" "mummy" and "duh duh". vmk would start to be a better place.

I have been on VMK since Day 1 and people have been saying what you are saying since Day 2. Ignore the taken/baby stuff and have fun!

Yeah, it is pretty bad for newcomers trying to get "rich." But it is good for people who already have it, maybe some of the items will eventually gain the "rareness" quest items used to have.

Vmk is what you make it. If you dwell on things that annoy you yea it will ruin your experience. Why not design some rooms...or stand and give things to newbies. After all some of us like the things that you are against.

Some of the worst conversations I've heard have been in the Haunted Mansion .. seems that people just have no patience to wait for the ghosts to appear. I've started to avoid HM it is not worth the aggravation. This was the straw that broke the camels back for me ...

There should be a way to report and send a screenshot that shows the offender, and what they are saying.

I'd say it is a bit of VMK's fault for making the time in between so long. Recently I've been spending half hour trips in the first room. I am NOT a happy camper about that.

I am not a fan of bay be and taken at all, however I have seen it go down drastically. Maybe it's just coincidence that I just don't see it a lot anymore in the public rooms I am in, though...that's quite possible. I have seen a dramatic increase in the rudeness of players for sure.

As far as it not being the same happy place, well there are decisions that are being made that affect VMK that I'm not happy about. And there are decisions being made that make me question how long VMK has left before the plug is pulled. That said, I just make my own magic in the game. I enjoy making guest rooms a lot more than I used to when I first started the game and I've been enjoying helping out new players. Yesterday all day I had my room open for the new submarine, primarily for the purpose of people seeing how they, too, can get it for free...since I had come across people who were saying they would trade their pieces only for rare items. A lot of people thanked me because they said that they almost gave away a bunch of their stuff before they came in my room and realized they could get these pieces for free. So it's doing things like that which make VMK a happy place for me.

Well yes and no...
But I agree with above, you really shouldn't dwell on the bad stuff and rather ignore it and all of that stuff has been happening since beta. Unless it was completely enforced not to do that, it is still going to be around.

Lately, I am just tired that people have no patience. Ok, I am one of the most patient with people..(just ask a few people here, and one word pool.doll LOL).. but alot of people just want everything to happen right away. Like waiting for the ghost in the mansion, Idk why, but I hate when people start yelling at the ghost to come out. Yelling at them isn't going to make them appear any faster.. If these people are in such a rush, why wait for them at all?

Another thing about patience, sometimes I have a horrible lag with the text bar thing, I hate when somebody ask you a question and since you didn't answer right away because of the text lag and they leave or walk away. It makes me feel horrible, for some reason, like I was ignoring them.

I think it just shows how fast pace our society is: always on the move, never slowing down. Sometimes we all need to slow down and smell the flowers.
