Our newspaper had a Disney code discount ad today. It hasn't been run in a few weeks, and, unfortunately, I think this means Disney is still trying to get a few more people booked before rates are discounted any further.

I really want to see lower rates . . .

Hang in there heal !!!

Our newspaper had an add today also...same code as for a while now...and magically...none are available when I call.

We have had a discount ad in our paper, The Washington Post, for 2 sunday's in a row. I can't imagine them not having an AP rate. Good Luck to all waiting!

If it was the AEA code, it was run in last Sunday's Parade section and again today in the Travel Section of the Atlanta Journal Constitution, so there have been codes the past couples of weeks.

Someone posted on another thread that they were told by a CM that AP rates were supposed to come out by tomorrow or Tuesday. Don't know if it's true, but I would watch these boards the next couple of days. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Our local newspaper stated a code of AEF which is the same code we just used to book our trip. I posted last week about the haggle that Disney gave us when trying to make the reservation. I went on disneyworld.com and typed in dates for the AEF at CBR and they quoted me a price of $94. I asked my DH, who wasn't working that day, to call directly and book it; he was switched from one person to another, about 6-7 times and they all told him (not too nicely) that the cheapest quote was $129 but the could give us a discount of $121 since we are AP holders. I finally just booked the room over the internet with the $94 rate; when DH called to ask for a certain bldg., they looked up our reservation # and asked where we had gotten that awesome rate - apparently, Disney should check what specials they are running. Either way, we're going and that's all that counts. . .hope you are too!

Sometimes rooms are available at a discount on the website of travel destinations and not available if you call the central number for reservations. This policy is the same if booking with Disney or any other large hotel chain.

Central reservations employees are only aware of what is shown on their computer screen. They are not aware of everything that is offered through the marketing department nor the internet.

The code that was in the Washington Post is for what time period? Still only thru July? I am waiting for a September code.
