Bad news for new Hidden Mickey Series, if you were going before 2007

According to reports from Monday's Pin Talk at MK, Steven Miller says that the first new Hidden Mickey pins will be out at the beginning of the year. For now, it's just the rereleases. The reports are on the dizpins forums, Dizpinformation Discussion Forum, under "Questions for those who attended the Event." Sorry no link, can't post 'em.

So sorry if you were going before the end of the year and were looking forward to new cast lanyard pins. My trip is end of Nov and I won't make it back for at least another three years because of my wife's return to school in the spring, so it was pretty disappointing for me.

hey, speaking of hidden mickeys- whats the deal with the hidden mickeys on OE pins? saw some at MGM last june. I was devestated as that little silver mickey is the only way I know a CM pin- my head is too filled with other useless information to store a million and 2 pins in there

There have been some made as companion pins of a sort, that are available for purchase. They match a style of pin in one of the series, and are a little bit larger. I thought it was a pretty dumb idea too, especially since they are going through the trouble of renaming the series to be more evocative of the nature of them. Why change the name to something more marketable for the idea, and then dilute that idea by adding items that are in a direct contradiction to it?
