Bad news and good news at Auberge de Cendrillon

I rang reservations today to try and book an evening at the beginning of June and was told the prince and princess meal bookings were between 11.30am - 3.30pm only no evening slots.

I have just had a quick exchange with my DD and we both now remember that the restaurant was not open in the evenings. So, it appears that the lunchtime menu is the new character one, and there is no alternative menu at any time.

oh no baddies please! My DD is prettified by the Baddies and wanted to leave Cafe Mickey during our last trip as they was a baddie present, quite a few kids reacted the same way!

Thank goodness you didn't book for Halloween then. ;)
My niece was fine with Captain Hook, but wouldn't come anywhere near Baloo. :confused3

Well now I always liked the look of this one.

I think I'd have to bring the shoe home.:)

Er... I just so happen to have one on my dressing table :cool1:

It's not mine though, unfortunately :sad2:

Well, this must be the most expensive character meal on the planet! Nearly double the price of the most expensive at WDW. No thanks (not that the boy wants to see pincesses anyway).

A bientot.

That is really disapointing we really wanted to go here to see the princess but we never eat a big meal during the day (fill up on breakfast then a snack early afternoon) we tend to have a big meal in the evening about 7.00ish.
We wouldn't pay those prices at lunch time as we arn't really very hungry.
Was really looking forward to having a meal there such a shame they are not doing evenings.
Have yet to tell my daughter who has been telling everyone she is going to meet the princes and princess this time at disney...wish I hadn't said anything now...:sad2:

Oh thats dissapointing we dont do this kind meal at lunch either ,we are too busy on the rides as well ,dont fancy chocolate mousse and space moutain after :lmao: maybe it will change by next year as they might see that its popular in the evenings

I think a princess character meal at CRT in WDW is even more expensive.

I know it's a lot of money, but do you all really find this so expensive?? My mom and I made the reflection that comparable meals in Brussels are about the same price or more expensive. (I talk about table service meals here)
I realise that if you're there with 5 persons or so, costs add soon, but still... I don't think restaurant prices at Disney are exaggerated. Or I live in a very expensive place, bwahaha!

We ate here last week and found the meal to be wonderful. We love French food and thought the meal was very French as opposed to theme parkish hence the higher price. It was well worth the money and we had a great time with the Princesses. DD (7) was speechless - a first for her!!!! The princesses didnt just sign autographs and pose for photos but spent time chatting to her. I'll do a proper report with photos when I get chance
